Purpose
This Fair Use Policy ensures all Vokka customers receive a consistent, high-quality experience. It applies to all mobile and data services described as "unlimited" or with large data inclusions, and is designed to prevent a small number of users from negatively impacting network performance for others.
Mobile services
Plans marketed as "Unlimited" provide unlimited standard data usage for personal, non-commercial purposes. During periods of network congestion, customers who have used more than 120 GB in a billing cycle may experience temporarily reduced speeds to ensure fair access for all users.
- Personal, non-commercial use only
- Tethering and hotspot use is included but may be subject to separate limits as specified in your plan
- Continuous streaming at maximum quality 24/7 may trigger traffic management during peak periods
- Use of our services to operate servers, peer-to-peer relay nodes, or commercial applications is not permitted
Prohibited uses
The following activities are not permitted on any Vokka service:
- Reselling or redistributing our services commercially
- Using services to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
- Deliberately attempting to degrade network performance
- Circumventing any traffic management or fair use measures
- Any activity that violates Australian law
What happens if this policy is breached
If we identify usage that significantly exceeds normal customer patterns or breaches this policy, we will contact you to discuss the situation. In most cases, we will work with you to find a suitable plan or solution. Repeated or severe breaches may result in service suspension or termination, with 14 days written notice.
